Jif is a brand of peanut butter produced by The J.M Smucker Company The peanut butter was founded in 1958 and in 1981 became the leading peanut butter brand in the United States. Dashie disapproves of the brand and despises the taste, texture, and branding of the butter. It has been a very old base for comedy throughout his skits on the DashieXP channel and has been mentioned in a lot of videos throughout the history of Dashie's different YouTube channels.
Every time Dashie sees or hears Jif mentioned in a video, he always screams "JIF!"
The Jif joke originated from one of Dashie's old skits, Dashie VS. Jason, in which Jason Voorhees, played by Dashie's friend Rich, spreads jam on a slice of bread while Dashie raves about his hatred of Jif.

- A Jif cereal was produced and released to the public in late 2013, much to Dashie's dismay.
- The J.M Smucker Company has also produced a variety of different spin-offs to regular Jif such as Low-Fat Jif, Jif-To-Go, Jif Peanut Powder for baking and cooking and even Jif Bars.
- Jif is Dashie's only "enemy" that doesn't talk, or isn't a human being or creature from a video game,although seen quite often.
